Spring Fling’s local cause Ringo, the Victim Services dog!
By Kristen Hubschmid
Chinook’s Arch Victim Services presents to Spring Fling 2016… Ringo!
Ringo is a Victim Services dog whose job is to act as a supporter and comforter for children who need to give a statement of witness or attend court. Often times these children cannot be accompanied by their parents or guardians – which is where Ringo comes in. He may accompany the kids as a ‘support person’, and he had already been a significant asset to the Victim Services team.
But in order to keep Ringo, the Chinook’s Arch Victim Services Society needs to raise the funds necessary to feed, transport and keep Ringo. Attend Spring Fling 2016 on April 8th to support the cause, and have a night out of entertainment to chase away the winter blues!
