Town asks community for input on new bylaws
Video:
The town of Olds held a community engagement session at Deer Meadow School on Tuesday May 12th to get feedback on the new proposed community bylaws. This was the second session this month that gave citizens the opportunity to voice their thoughts and opinions on the proposed draft bylaws.
Town staff facilitated the event and made notes on the suggested changes the community would like to see.
The four areas the proposed bylaws cover are Public Behaviours, Traffic and Parking, Dogs and Cats, Care of Properties
Michelle Honeyman from the Town of Olds encouraged participants to use the ‘dot-ocracy’ board to identify their perspective on each of the four areas of the bylaw. The discussions that followed used the dots to identify the concerns and measure the participants feeling towards the new bylaws.
